H.E.R. — Hope. Empowerment. Resilience. is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering Black adolescent girls through mentorship, life skills development, and culturally affirming support.

Our programs focus on helping girls build confidence, resilience, and leadership while navigating challenges that too often limit their opportunities. Through mentorship, social-emotional learning, and real conversations about identity, relationships, and decision-making, we create spaces where girls can grow, connect, and recognize their potential.

H.E.R. also works with educators, social workers, and community leaders by offering training that promotes trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches when supporting Black girls.

At H.E.R., we believe that when Black girls are supported and empowered, they become powerful leaders in their communities.
